hello,i had my picture taken(wrexham leader) by that shop in the early 60',with two friends,we were on a horse and cart driven by the farmer called jerris, the cart was ladened with hay collected from wrexham cemetery, and we used to travell along bersham road to his small holding at the bottom of vinegar hill, anyway when we neared the shop he would say, ''lets call in sall's for sweets''still looking for that picture

annedw,it is just outside rhos, its the wrong shop but i will pop into wrexham museum and look for the picture of the shop, me, and horse and cart.now theres a thought what was the name of the shop, its not a shop anymore its the first house on the right with bersham legion about 300 yards on left.it must have been 1965 or 66,when it was taken.

Hi Linda
I do not know anything about Llidiart fanny cottage but have a photo of my late parents with a Mr & Mrs Jones (may be related) taken about 1937 at what looks like Llidiart Sais Farm. Is this still around and does anyone know anything about it which may help me? The Mr & Mrs Jones in the photo are older than my parents aged possibly about 50 and therefore born circa 1887. Coincidentally I also have a Selina Edwards in my tree born Gwersyllt around 1876.
Peter

Hi You'll need to look at baptisms to confirm his parentage. Was he born in Caernarvon? You are asking about photos, do you mean photos of Llidiart fanny cottage? eluned
