With this year seeing the launch of sister sites for neighbouring towns and villages it would be interesting to learn from a supply and demand angle which areas would be of interest to members both old and new.
Also, how many folks call at our sites when their actual interest is an area that has no internet site of info?
The use of our message board is only to be encouraged in this section if this is the case.
I look forward to any opinions on any of the above points.

I'll cast my vote for Bryneglwys!
BTW Hen & Lynn I have the PRs for Llanbedr DC to 1812 and Llanarmon and Llandegla to 1837 if lookups would be helpful. I wonder if links to a site covering the triangle Ruthin, Corwen and Minera would be more useful or better than having one dedicated page. I've found so many of the families intermarried in these area the queries would probably cover more than one village?

Hi Heather, Thanks for the offer of look-ups but I've got the transcriptions for Llanbedr and Llanychan. Its the dates between 1813 and 1837 that are the difficult ones! Although Llanbedr's baptisms are covered by the IGI for this period. Anybody wanting look-ups in Llanbedr or Llanychan, give me a shout.

I'd be interested in Llanelidan and Derwen. Some of my family moved to minera from there around 1870 but there is nothing as good a minerahistory for the area.

I`ve been looking at the New Brighton page, by going from the Bwlchgwyn pages. BUT , I can`t get back to the main Minera Ancestry page from there by a link, I have to close the site down and then go back.to Minera Ancestry to start all over again. Looking at the Wern records, on the V page, there is nothing there, just a Host welcome page. All the entries from Rows 15/16/17/18 are missing.

Yes pages are in need of tidying in respect of links and plenty of uploading to do. I'm still living out of boxes at moment with only mob phone for internet access. Another month house will be livable and the pc will be back on line! Mind you I seem to have been saying that for quite a few months now!

Heather Hello Heather, You see I do reply to posts eventually! ;D I tend to think we do cater for an area stretching from Wrexham towards Llanarmon to Ruthin to Corwen to Llangollen and back to Wrexham. You mention Bryneglwys and others have mentioned Derwen and Llanelidan. I also have ancestry from Llanfair DC. If you wish to submit any info of Bryneglwys, I will place a page on the Corwen site. If anyone has ancestry from these 'middle' places simply send me a short story about what you have learned of them and I can place them on a 'village people' section - straight away the area has a webpage. Send some stories to me - they only need to be brief.
