Hi Kenny, I am not aware of there being a burial reg. for Bethesda, Bwlchgwyn but I do have a copy of the M/Is and there is no evidence of any of your Lewis,s, which probably indicates there are no Headstones for Jane or Ann. However I do have a database for the baptisms there and I found these three which may be of interest.----Parents Thomas & Annie Lewis Tyn y Pistyll, Minera---Idris Leonard Lewis b. 6 3 1910 bapt. 21 6 1910--Sarah Ann Lewis b. 30 12 1911 bapt. 22 4 1913-- Gwynfryn Lewis b. 12 10 1913 bapt. 25 1 1914 --I would also like to point out that Tyn y Pistyll in Minera is in the same area known locally as Penybont.(Are you certain of Penybont Nant y Ffrith ?) Hope this helps in some way and good luck with your research--Regards Tom

Hi Tom
All the certificates state that address
The family moved from Bylchau, Denbigh to Penybont in around 1912, Evan Lewis was the father (He was a Blast Furnace man at Brymbo)the family was Margaret,Dora,Jane,Robert,Thomas,Henry, Miriam(My mother)Evan married his sister in law Ann in 1908 they had a son David William. As I,ve said Ann died in child birth in 1918,Evan went on to marry again in 1925 and died in 1930 at Penybont aged 58.

Hi, I am sorry the Lewis's I found were obviously not yours and I have failed to find any ref to them in the local records I have--There is a record of plots purchased in Bethesda Graveyard on the home page of this site but it does not seem to offer up anything useful for you-Good Luck Tom

Hi Kenny Yes they could well have been buried together but it's just as likely that they weren't!

Thanks for the replies,Does anyone know if the "Listing of Purchasers" info of burial plots at Bethesda contains any dates,As I,ve said I,m interested in the Lewis plots and any dates may narrow the search.I did ask Llosgi Calch but hav,nt received a reply

I see that the graveyard burials are dated between December 4th 1880 - 2001 and I don't have any further information than is stated I'm afraid. link 'This information covers the middle section only. The lower section which covers the oldest graves are not covered. Likewise the top section which houses more recent burials is also not included.'Hopefully Llosgi will be in touch shortly

Hi, I have replied to Kenny, unfortunately I cant add anymore than what is already here..
The Lewis' Tom mentions are my lot, and no relations to Kenny's enquiry.
Thanks Jas Lewis.
