Can anuyone find this person and any family members in the 1841 Census.
In 1851 Thomas Owens born c1784 and his wife Sarah born c1788 were living at Pentrefelin, Wrexham Abbot. I'd loke to know where they were in 1841 and which children, if any, were with them.
Thanks in advance,
Emeltee

Many thanks for the link, it worked for me. However I don't really want to pay £11 for one piece of information. Thomas Owens is my only Wrexham ancestor so I think it would be a waste of money. I was just curious to see which, if any of the children, were still with him in 1841.
Thanks again,
Emeltee

Yes, that's the couple on 1851. Thomas was born to Robert Owens in Llantysilio but I cannot work out where Sarah was born. I'm sure it's not the Rhoose in Cardiff, but I can't seem to find anywhere in Denbighshire. Thomas and Sarah married in Marchweil if that helps.

Well done annedw, I was in the process of suggesting Emeltee gives as much information as possible. For example when they were married, children, parents etc. Anything known can be a big help.

Many thanks annedw, that is them. Son Thomas was my gt gt grandfather. In 1851 he was in Liverpool with brothers John and William.
Can I be a pain and ask if you could tell me where Sarah was born. It says Rhose, Denbighshire in the 1851 Census and I see you noted it as Rhos. Where exactly is that as I cannot find it on a map. The exact name might help me to pin down her birth.
Many thanks,
Emeltee

Many thanks for getting back to me. Her maiden was Jones. Son Thomas had a nonconformist baptism and according to that her parents were John and Mary Jones. I think I may have found her baptism 22/22/1789 in Ruabon, Sarah daughter of John and Mary Jones of Morton Above. However when I looked for siblings I found at least twelve chidren all with parents John and Mary Jones of Morton Above. There were 2 called Ann, 2 called Elizabeth, 2 called John and 3 called Edward so I'm guessing that there was more than one couple in Morton Above called John and Mary Jones! I think that I'm not going to be able to take this one back any further.
I was looking for the children to try and work out when John and Mary got married - something of a hopeless task, I think.
Many thanks for your help.
