I must admit I don't visit as much as I used to but am here again looking at old posts. Some of the original and early members don't seem to be "active" now and I'm wondering whether they will see this post. If you do, then it would be nice to hear from you all again. Happy New Year.

Hi. As it says on the original post it was on the item description on Ebay. I didn't find it, the seller must have, he does say "my research " Perhaps there is more online since 2015. 🙂

What records do you have for them as being married. If you can't find a marriage, how do you know it was in Wrexham 🙂

4.29 Minera House and Glasfryn sit to the west of Cae Mynydd, separated by a narrow track that provides public access to the former Lloyds Lead shaft, the stone ruins are just visible directly south of Minera House, and onto the former railway line that connected the extensive network of lead mines. The two properties are substantial sandstone buildings, enclosed behind stone walling with thingy and hen copings. Their scale and boundary detailing compliments that of Cae Mynydd and collectively they form an important group of buildings that define the southern boundary of the Conservation Area. The properties date from the mid to late 19th Century. The 1845 Tithe Map indicates that the site was previously occupied by outbuildings associated with Cae Mynydd and it is possible some of the remaining stone outbuildings pre-date the two dwellings. The principle frontage of Minera House is symmetrically planned around a central doorway and orientated westwards towards the former lead mines and Esclusham Mountain. Glasfryn faces towards the main road, it’s symmetrically planned frontage just visible behind the trees within the garden. Both properties have renewed windows within the original openings which has diminished their historic character.
I found this on a PDF file , Minera Conservation. Doesn't mention a nursing home. Meadows Lea was a nursing home in Penyfford.

Hello again.
Since the time we were researching this family the GRO index has had a new look, you can now get mothers maiden names. This is very useful.
I`ve had a look at the Evans and Clampetts, who are entered as Clampitt and this is what I found.
To use the GRO site you have to register , it is free.

This may be William the brother of Fanny. 1891 Wrexham. All born Wrexham . Richard Jones 60 Martha Jones 50 Walter Jones 20 Sarah Jones 18 Ellen Jones 15 Richard Jones 13 Williams H Jones 8 William Willthingy 20 nephew
All the births of Jones children with same name appear on GRO index with mmn name Lloyd . Martha may be Elizabeths sister. A good way to check is the marriage of William Willco*ck to Eunice Dodd. Hopefully it will name his father.

I had another look, it`s very difficult to work out. There are some options you might want to try especially the will of William in 1878/79. It might shed some light. there seems to be a connection with Jones`, but everyone has one here in Wales. ! GRO Index births Wrexham . mmn Lloyd. WILLthingy, ALICE mmn LLOYD 1867 J Quarter in WREXHAM Deaths Mar 1870 Willthingy Alice 2 Wrexham WILLthingy, WILLIAM mmn LLOYD 1870 D Quarter in WREXHAM I think you need to take a look at this one. AGED 39 born c 1839 Will proved 24 August 1879 by Richard Jones, Oakley House in this parish, nephew and Samuel Dale farmer of Deeside Holt . Elizabeth Wilthingy 73 widow of William Willthingy, Plas Noble died at Gatewen . She is much older than William was, but could be another family member, grandmother perhaps. Also she would be about 60 when Fanny was born. And there is this one ? newspapers.library.wales/view/4591210/4591215/26/William Willthingy aged 45 late of Wrexham , died 17 Sept 1890 (bc 1845) Miles Street, Liverpool Fanny Wilthingy married at All Saints, Liverpool 27 Nov 1890 . I wonder does anyone know where the Wharf was in Coedpoeth? My great aunt Julia is featured on a postcard would like to add photos to this post but nothing to attach them too. When you reply there should be a row of icons and at the right Add Attachment. . Click on this and add the files. Hopefully it will do the job. Just scroll down a few rows before you insert it or it will have your text around it.

Something to ponder on . Could these be brothers, with no parents around. Could they have been taken in by an Austin family, and used their name, then reverted back to the original name of Beech. Perhaps if you can find baptisms, or maybe the marriage of Samuel and Ann might have some clues. Just a thought.
1841 Walk Mill Cottages . Drayton in the Hales Market Drayton. Shropshire William Beech 15 b Shropshire, England Samuel Beech 15 b Shropshire, England Elizabeth Jones 5 b Shropshire, England
No relationship given between these three.
Is this the same Samuel, now named Austin and same occupation as William . 1871 Red Bank Row, Little Drayton, Market Drayton Samuel Austin 49 brick labourers lab b Market Drayton, Ann Austin wife 52 William Lewis boarder 4

So , William Austin married Elizabeth Snape. I can`t see a marriage. If their first child was William b 1849, then it would be before then. Where are they in 1851.
This is all I can find.
Registration Year: 1848 Registration Quarter: Jul-Aug-Sep Registration district: Oswestry William Austin Charlotte Davies Margaret Davies Richard Edwards Margaret Malaney Peter Mitchell
I`m guessing this is the first son, it might be worth getting the birth certificate to check mothers maiden name.
Births Dec 1848 Austin. William Mt Drayton 18 111
Here they are in 1861 Drayton. All children b Drayton.
William Austin 38 bricklayer b Drayton. Elizabeth Austin 30 washerwoman b Prees William Austin 12 James Austin 8 Elizabeth Austin 4 Clara Austin 1
1871 Little Drayton
William Austin 45 bricklayer b Market Drayton Elizabeth Austin 44 b Prees William Austin 22 bricklayer James Austin 18 Clara Austin 11 Hannah Austin 7 Rebecca Snape 76 mother in law b Prees
