Ago, Reference your post of the 27/6/12 concerning possible wreakage in the field opposite Borras Hall Lane. That could be the part remains of Miles Master W8640 which broke up in mid air and crashed the the vicinity of Tyn-Twll Farm. In a direct line of sight that field is only approximately 1,000 yards from the farm. See my latest post and that of targettug on WW2 crash Worlds End. Regards Pierce

Thanks for all the info pulled together by those here over the years. Today marks the 75th anniversary of the fatal crash, so we're heading to the crash site this evening. I'd be interseted to hear from any of you especially Damocon, about the medals and artifacts. There's a WWII event (Tea Dance etc) to be held in Bwlchgwyn in SEpt 2018, so it would be amazing to have somthing like that to show. Thanks. Ben

Well done, it`s great to hear people are remembering these incidents. Also that people are still using this site.

Made a bit of a pigs ear if attaching the images... But here is Flight Sergeant Robert Smeaton, his effects and a copy of the operations log as promised years ago.
Feel free to tidy up the post...
