Hi Everyone,
Recently joined the forum and found some amazing information out about the history of the Bwlchgwyn, Coedpoeth etc and I really hope you can help me find some further infromation out about my house.
Its a little out the way down in the dip so it can not be seen on many pictures but wondering if anyone could point me in the correct direction to do some further digging.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

Would suggest a visit to research section of Wrexham Museum. They hold a large number of records, plus maps of the area, the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. Do not go on a Tuesday as it is closed to the public because local schools use it's facilities I believe.

My Grandmother was in Bwlchgwyn 1905 Her name was Anne Griffiths. We do believe that she was in service. But she had to leave with a child in arms. I think around about 1920 .She came to live in Worksop Nottinghamshire. I do believe her sister lived local . My grandfather had gust left the army in 1920 ,he was still in uniform when she asked if he needed a housekeeper. They stayed together untill he died in 1952.
