Thanks again for all the information.
My original intention was to provide some evidence to show who was Fanny's father and which family she was connected to so that anyone finding this thread would have some answers. There is a tree here tinyurl.com/y9wpac3k which has most of the people mentioned in this thread.
I have already mentioned some that I can't connect and there is also this one
newspapers.library.wales/view/4591210/4591215/26/
William Willthingy aged 45 late of Wrexham , died 17 Sept 1890 (bc 1845) Miles Street, Liverpool
I have searched the newspapers before but not come across that one before.
He is not Fanny's father or brother. He could be the son of Thomas Willco-ck (1802-1856) Edward's brother. The age is not correct for him as he was born in 1839. However there is evidence to show he did live in the Liverpool area. In the 1851 census he is with his parents at Madeira Hill, Wrexham. He appears on the 1861 census in Bootle Cum Linacre. He is a joiner in the house of John Adams (husband of sister Elizabeth). I can't find him after that, Elizabeth & John are back in Wales by 1871 (in Flintshire which was where John was born)
I have tried searching the newspapers before and think I would have tried Plas Noble before but perhaps not. I found quite a few that I had not seen before.
One concerning William (Fanny's father) confirmed the date of his first marriage to Ellen Edwards. He was due in court 4 May 1863 (illegal slaughter house) but did not attend as he was getting married.
