Nice bit of History for any relations. I`ve found Alfred E in 1881 - just to get you started ;D

The wording in red is that which appears on the reverse of the carte
The back of the carte is marked 'Mr A E Capper 1889'
Research shows that Alfred Edward Capper, of Wrexham, joined the Royal Welsh Fusiliers in 1890. having previously served with the 3rd Battalion of the Regiment.
Capper, a labourer, aged 18 years, served with the regiment until 1897.
In 1918, aged 45, he was called up for service during the Great War.
However, he was discharged from the Army Service Corps, on account of ill health.
He received the Silver War Badge for his service.
Sold with copies of Capper's Great War Attestation Papers, Silver War Badge , entitlement card, and 1881 and 1891 census entries.
Fulll length faded image of Capper in ceremonial dress holding a walking out stick.
The carte mount was printed in Berlin for Samuel Fry & Co. Limited, Kingston-on-Thames
