This one, I haven't got a clue. All I know was that it was in the Williams family album. Any suggestions to date, where taken, what they were doing? Sharon Attachments:

Hi Sharon, Obviously a lot of talent here and lots of wonderful costumes from wizzards to nurses but not sure what its all about though No idea of date either. Could it be for a teacher that is leaving the school? Do you have any teachers in your tree? Can you scan and crop the banner thing with the writing on so that we can have a closer look at that please? (Not the goodbye but the one behind the possible lion at the back.)

Lovely old picture of the play. I wonder when/where the photo was taken. I have a attached another photo of a concert. Someone, (can't remember who), that the name of the man standing in the middle is Morgan. (maybe a Davies?) Attachments:

Hi Eluned, the only thing that could possibly fit in is regarding my great, great uncle Levi Williams. He died July 29th 1938 of Manley Road, Coedpoeth. His Obituary stated he was a member of Rehoboth Chapel and had interested himself in the life of the village, especially its musical activities. He was a good dramatist and was especially successful as "Huw Bennett" in "Beddau'r Proffwydi" (whatever that means ) some years ago, when the Felin Society performed the drama. Would the photo fit into that era perhaps? Mo11y, I see you also have theatrical history about your family too. What a lovely photo. I wonder what the men of today would think if they had to wear that gear ;D

Hmmm, not quite sure what that is, is it a crest of some sort?

Looks like one of those banners they carry on union demonstrations. The last bit looks like XV towns

It's Ruyton XI Towns in Shropshire. So this photo came from my nanna's side, Beatrice May Davies married to Evan Thomas Williams. She was born there. At least, I can put this photo into the Davies section and not the Williams section. That's the problem when photo's are all jumbled up. I will have to go onto the Shropshire website and see whether anyone can help out there. Thanks again for your help ;D

Hi, You beat me to Ruyton xi Towns but I would suggest I think it is a type of Fancy Dress Concert or competition as we have a lovely Jack and Jill in the front row complete with bucket and bandages on their head also their names--Possibly Little Jack Horner next to them -Tom
