I'm hoping to find a burial for this little guy - Robert Roberts Carrington. He was born Dec Q 1879 Wrexham His death is recorded Mar Q 1880 age zero My great aunt Sinah Carrington was born Nov 30, 1879 (date from a cousin). I'm wondering if it is possible they were twins. My g grandparents were non-c so he could be anywhere. Could a child be buried with an adult without a record? I'm still looking for Sinah Roberts burial - she died Nov 5, 1879 at Talwrn Bersham, so if he was related he may have been buried with his Nain. Trust me to develop overwhelming curiousity now that the certificates have gone up in price ;D H

Hi jojo, If they were buried at Rehoboth without a headstone there is no way of finding them Also the circuit baptisms aren't complete....there is most certainly a gap around 1880, if I remember rightly a couple of years are missing. My Grandfathers baptism wasn't entered in 1880 and I can be 99.9% positive that he would have been baptised at Rehoboth. eluned

Hi, I did notice that there are no bapt. listed abt 1880 as Eluned has pointed out so it is going to be hard to find.--- You probably have the following but here goes. Sinah Carrington ( Gwynfryn)marr Edward Jones(Coedpoeth) 15 2 1905 in Gwynfryn Chapel. Sarah Carrington marr Richard Becket Jones 28 8 1901 in Jerusalem Chapel, Wrexham and they both lived in Coedpoeth. I also have John Iorweths Marr if required. Francis John Carrington aged 11 weeks died 20 3 1890 bur 24 3 1890. Martha Carrington aged 18 yrs died 28 6 1892 bur 2 7 1892---both buried in Rehoboth. Good Luck Tom

Thank you all for your advice and information. Annette- you are spot on with John Carrington & Winifred Roberts who were my g grandparents. Winifred's father was Robert Roberts, blacksmith, from Bryneglwys. I've never been able to locate his death/burial or is wife's Sinah's burial. So have been going over old ground to see if I missed something. I printed up all the Carrington BMDs from NorthWales BMD and Free BMD and this Robert Roberts C came up. I noticed that his birth registration was one page number removed from the daughter Sinah C so I got curious . In 1911 Winnifred states she has had 10 children - 8 alive & two deceased which are accounted for - the Mary Elizabeth Carrington found by Annette, Mary was their first child who died as a baby a few weeks before Sinah was born and Barbara Winifred C (Jun 22, 1888 who died of peritonitis May 6, 1907). I can't remember exactly when the Gwynfryn Chapel was built but I don't believe they had a burial ground there. So I think Lynn is correct in her suggestion that they were most likely buried at Rehoboth. Tom - thank you for your information. If I have these correct, Martha Carrington was the daughter of Moses Carrington & Harriett Williams, and Francis John Carrington was the son of Francis Carrington & Mary Jane Jones. I did not have the marriage of Sarah Carrington to Richard Becket Jones. Do you know Sarah's father's name or have any other detail? best regards Heather

Hi Heather, You are absolutely correct re the deaths and I have no info re the marr. of Sarah other than it was Parch J Felix who took the ceremony.Sorry-----According to my records the earliest "Cylchgrawn" available in the Palmer Centre is 1889 which is a real shame as it may have provided more clues re RR Carrington Tom

One of my cousins has sent me Sinah's birth certificate. There is no time of birth on it so that more or less rules out my possible twin theory for Robert Roberts Carrington
