I've recently read that only the town centre part of the Wrexham 1841 census is still in existence
Is there anywhere online I can view it? the ancestors I'm looking for lived in the town centre (Chester St) and I believe they were there in 1841 but would like to confirm it
thank you Linda

Hi Linda Yes that's correct. The 1841 census for Wrexham town centre has been published in booklet form by the Clwyd FHS. Hopefully someone will be able to do a look up for you. Can you post the names your are searching for please? eluned

Linda has also posted on another site, and she has found her family in 1841. I`m copying it here in case it`s of use to anyone else .
Chester Street in 1841: Charles Edwards, 30, coachman Mary, 30 Charles, 9 Alfred, 5 Loutha (?), 4 Ann, 1 All born County

Thank you for letting me know annedws, I really wish people wouldn't do this. I am always very happy to help but I don't have time to waste.

Please accept my apologies eluned I'm obviously not well versed in genealogy forum etiquette and was just eager to learn more of my family, all I asked in this thread is for someone with access to the 1841 census for a lookup, my thread on another site was asking for more detailed info on another Thomas Edwards and also mentioned the 1841 census It wasn't until after I'd started this thread that I realised it only had replies once a month or so
