I have noticed that my ancestors seem to have moved about in the area quite a lot.
On reading the death cert. of Thomas John Edwards the 6month old son of my GGrandfather Robert Price Edwards his address is listed as 9 Gwenfro Terrace, Tan y Vron, Brymbo. As he was a collier I assume he would have been working at Vron colliery.
It would be interesting to find out which mines he worked in. Are there any records available with employment details ?

I would think if anything at all remains regarding Vron Colliery it may be an idea to contact the Denbighshire Archives at Ruthin who may possibly have information of a register of employee's who worked there. If they dint hold that information they may possibly be able to tell you who does or if it exists at all

I contacted Denbigshire records but they have no info. They suggested I try Flintshire. Flintshire only have records of deaths and injuries. They suggested I try the coal authority. The coal authority have no old records and suggested I try the county archivist.

You'd think some records must be somewhere?
Note that your ancestor could easily have worked at Plas Power Colliery as well as Vron Colliery.
