If you have read my post from earlier today you will be aware that I visited Wales last weekend with my sister and guess who forgot their digital Camera GRRR!!! so had to wait on my sisters prints being developed (which i now have to send over to Holland). I need help translating a very poor photograph of my 3rd Great Grandparents Headstones which are in Welsh and because of the shadow on the stone are very difficult to see, Also there is a Grave next to that of Robert Owens who seems to be their son whom i was not aware about I have ytried my best to transcribe the welsh from what i can see and hopefully someone could tell me what it says in english, I have tried myself but my welsh vocabulary is very limited to like son of the year, months and dates of death etc. so here goes : Coffadwriaeth am Thomas Owens yr ugain uy. Mwnglawdd. yr bwn a. fu fawr Ionawr 13. 1874 yn 59 Mlwydd oed. Yma'nhad huna meryn hedd-o ngol wg Y' nowaelod y prdd ledd. Nes ail gyfodi 'n sylwedd Oi nod gwael i newid owedd Hef yg Miriam ; bridd yr uchod yy hon a fu farw. Tach 28. 1902 yn 84 mlwydd oed. Yr Hyn a allodd hon hi ai cwnaeth and the one for Robert which is even more difficult to read is : ER COF Am Robert Mab Thomas. a Miriam Owens Mwnglawedd yr Bwn a fu fawr Ion 8 1846 yn 4 ml oed.
