Does anybody know if Fron Bella was a Place name of a town or a name of a Farm, my ancestor William Evans was a Farmer in 1841, he was also a butcher at one time. I've had a quick look but no success as yet but I will keep on looking, I just thought I query this just in case someone has a good knowledge of the local area and can tell me more then the internet can. Thank you for anything. All the best.

Hi, Well suprise , suprise! I am also a decendent of William and Jane. Griffith Evans their youngest son was my g. grandfather! He was recently reinterred at Coedpoeth cemetery following the demolishion of Rehoboth where he was a lay preacher. Fron Bellaf was a farm and is still there today.

It was excellent to hear from Lynn, now we can share information and hopefully learn more about our ancestors.
If I find any new information I will of course share it with the site, just in case there are other researches searching this family.

Just a little note, Lynn has been brilliant finding information on our Evans ancestors and sharing them with me, the latest news is, that one of the ancestors a Maria Evans had actually left Denbighshire and came down to my neck of the woods, 1st to a farm in Merthyr Tydfil and then to Cwmaman and Aberdare which is in the same valley as me so hopefully I may come across some of Maria's descendent's. Again I thank this site for getting us in touch with one another.

Thankyou Rhiannon and its a pleasure to share info with you. I don't want to be seen to take all the credit for this one though, if it hadn't been for Heather I may never have found Maria. Thankyou again Heather and of course this site too as it got us all together.
