Does anyone know if there are any publications of Memorial Inscriptions for these church's burial grounds?
Also I've been told of a couple of my ancestors who appear on Wrexham parish registers but recorded as buried in Minera. Does anyone know if this was this unusual or common practice??
Grateful for any help
Heather

Thanks Annedw Would the records be kept at the churches or would they be at Ruthin or Wrexham ? I'm assuming the churches are still in use. Any one know if that is correct?

Sceptre Lady, Certainly Llandegla is well in use, have gleaned many headstone pictures for my Family Tree ( Davies Twig ) from that place, and I think Llanarmon is also. Attended a very interesting Talk at the Wrexham Museum by the Rev ( Mrs) Eirias L Griffiths of Llanarmon Parish, on the Healing Wells of Denbighshire. I didn't know of such things, but what a facinating topic. Locsin I have a picture of Llanarmon & Llandegla Churches on my Tree, which if I knew how to copy to this message, I would have done.

Sceptre Lady, Try on the internet, [glow=red,2,300]Llandegla Church[/glow], and you will see a couple of sites, one of which has a Photo, and brief history of the Church. Similarly with Llanarmon, type [glow=red,2,300]Llanarmon Church,[/glow] I think that the first site gives a programme of services, etc., so yes that is still in use., and if you go to the next site there is a picture and potted hiistory of that church as well. Thank you very much for your help "Locsin"or should that be "hen" Sorry i don't have any Welsh so do not understand what it means in English I just found the website for the Dyffryn Clwyd Deanery at www.dyffrynclwyd.org.uk and it was very helpful. The Deanery covers so many of the churches close to Minera. Highly recommend it to anyone from away like me as you can view all of the area churches on one website. I think all of you who live in or near North Wales are soooo lucky!!
