My mum Glenys Field(nee Jones)was a cousin of Linda's.I exchanged some letters and phone calls with her a few years back but haven't heard from her for a few years-no reply to Christmas cards and letters .She was telling me about a big party you all had a couple of years ago -some one's 50th ? Fantastic that you are on this list! Ros

Yes, Mum has told me now that you would be Glenys's daughter. She had also said that someone had been in touch with her, but that she had not got around to replying to any quetions. (She does not send out Christmas cards). If there is anything that I can be of help with, I will do my best to answer, or get something out of Mum, if she can remember!

Unfortunately Mum does not know much( if anything) about her Grandfather's siblings, but it was very interesting to read what you have picked up about them. (marriage date). When I retire from work, it is my intention to take this up as a hobby!

sorry I have not replied sooner. Yes it is time consuming and that is the reason I have not kept up! I have been helping both my children move house - both to different areas. One is in Northamptonshire and one in Oxfordshire. Not even close to home! This is the 6th move we have had with them in about 18 months!!!!!!! Hope I will get back on the ancestry train again now.

Well here I am again! Can't believe it has been nearly 3 years since I was last on this site, despite having retired in March 2007! Really must catch up again. Happy Christmas!
