Hi Sarah, I think that the Rev, H.J. Lloyd, :-/was Herbert J Lloyd, formerly vicar at St.John's, Hightown Wrexham, later of Rhyl, and also Padre to the Royal Welsh Fusileers for many years. Hen Locsin

RevT W Pritchard was the vicar of Ruabon in 1986 as he christened my daughter. I usually see him in Flintshire Records Office and I think he became a archdeacon. There is a book by him called Remembering Ruabon. I think he's a member of an historical society somewhere.

Hi Hen Locsin and Griffith, Many thanks for your replies ;D My grandfather died 2 weeks before I was born so sadly I know very little about him.....from his obit I gather he was a churchwarden at Eryrys St David for many years and all the mentioned vicars were involved in both a house family service and the church service on the day of his funeral...... G E Breeze was my aunt's brother in law, he was George Breeze, a Welsh Wesleyan Minister and a colleague of my father Revd Norman Lewis Williams, Welsh Wesleyan Minister at Rehoboth in Coedpoeth 1975 till his death in late 1978.
