My family comes from the Four Crosses. My Nain "Rebecca Mary Cadwaladr" lived there as a child - I think she was born in 1907. Her brother Tom was a well known cattle dealer who moved to (eventually) Two Mile House, Wrexham Road, Chester. I think her mother was a Williams* before she married Cadwelyn Cadwaldar, a stonemason (responsible for many of the stones in Coedpoeth (and Bwlchgwyn) cemetary). My Nain married my Taid - Gwilym James Evans (known as Beckett) and they lived on Smithy Road. Gwilym had a bakery (before him it was Peter James Beckett (his father)*. (needs verifying). There is a similar picture in the bar of the pub in which has my nain is present along with a number of others..
