An email received from Terry Wood...
Fascinating, Every year a group of us from Coedpoeth travel to France and Belgium visiting the graves of people from the village who fell in the first world war. This year we are visiting Les Boeufs to place a small cross onto Joseph `s grave. I have tried to contact a member of the Wilcoxon family to see if they would like us to take something personal of theirs or to bring back pictures, etc. but am having great difficulty in finding any living relatives. If you could offer any assistance we would be most grateful. Thanks, Terry Wood - 01978753087

I only spotted this post yesterday , if I had seen Wilcoxon in the subject I would have opened it sooner. Anyway , I rang Terry tonight , the visit had already taken place in May , so I was too late. It is a very good thing they do, visiting the graves of local soldiers who may not be remebered. He has a lot to tell about Joseph Oswald, and I`m sure also has much on the other names on the War Memorial in the park.
