July 25, 1863
D Williams, Miners Arms Minera donated 2s 6d for help to `relief of distressed operatives in Lancashire.`
November 09, 1866.
The sale of a property to be held at the house of William Williams , known as Miners Arms Inn, Minera ,
Property was a newly erected house, with bakehouse and shop in possesion of Miss Elizabeth Jones, the shop can at a trifing expence be converted to a public house and wine vaults.
It was `adjoining and fronting the turnpike road near Bwlchgwyn.
February 12, 1887, ( shortened version.)
Richard Williams of Miners Arms, Bwlchgwyn was summoned by Harriet Wynn and Anne Jane Evans ( widow of Bwlchgwyn with 3 children ) for assault.
Mrs Wynn was sister of Anne Jane Evans. They had been in the Bull Inn , Abbot St Wrexham with the defendants father.
Defendant came in and called them `bad names` Harriet asked what he meant by it and got a blow to the face. Harrriet said she heard her sister ask defendant what he had against her marrying his father.
Defendants father said `let us be revenged on them by going to get married`
Later on in the report it says the magistrates heard the case of Anne Jane Willams against Richard Williams. It seems he had threatened to assualt her with his stick .
Richard fined 10s on the first charge and case dismissed on the second.
December 24, 1887.
Richard Williams , of the Miners Arms Minera , granted a 2 hours for an extension for a private supper
November 29, 1889
Samuel Griffiths alias Pierce charged with causing the death of William Davies during a fight at Minera Arms.
Griffiths was a former Liverpool police officer but had left and joined the Denbighshire constabulary, he now worked at Brymbo steelworks.
Saturday, February 22, 1890
Richard Williams was still the landlord.
He was fined £1 and 9 shillings costs , after serving beer on a Sunday to travellers who lived further away than 3 miles.
It says he had been the landlord for 9 years.
September 06, 1890
Richard Williams charged with allowing intoxicating liqour to be consumed on a Sunday he was fined £2 and had his licence endorsed because of the previous incident in February.

Richard Williams was not granted a renewal of his licence because of the two incidents in 1890 and that there had been a fight there which resulted in loss of a life.
September 10, 1892
Richard Williams applied for a licence for the Miners Arms, the Oddfellows Club held their meetings there and they signed a petition in support.
September 09, 1893
Richard Williams the occupier of Minera Arms applied for a full licence , his licnece having been taken away for 2 years.
The house was owned by Lady Ffrench , Elm Park, Dublin.
Many local people gave evidence in support but the licence was refused
