"After the evening service, Mr Charles from Brymbo spoke about the reason for the place and explained in full the course the chapel should be used for. Mr Charles felt a particular interest in this cause, as much as Mr JF Rogers , Coedpoeth, and Messrs John Carrington, Noah Price, Joseph Jones, G Evans, T Jones and E Parry." Thank you Margaret and nice to see my great grandfather got a mention too

Thanks Margaret, I enjoyed that bit of history and in fact the ref to May 18th 1903 about The Childrens Choir from Bwlchgwyn under the leadership of William Davies was of interest as William was in fact a brother to Tegla Davies, and their father also named William was a brother to my maternal great grandmother Winifred (Gwen)--Tom

Hi Everone, Am I missing something here? I thought that the photograph was of St Andrews Church in Y Werrn, at least thats what it was as far back as I can remember,--about1943. Another ex-resident of Minera, slightly older than I also confirms this. Any comments please. Hen Locsin

Thanks Annette for showing the two pictures.
I have just added a Flash Earth link to Hermon Chapel on the Location board.
Regards - Margaret.
