hello to all members
i have been tracing our family history for 20 years my wife's g. grandmother was hulm part of the family moved from liverpool to adwy, coedpoeth sometime after their marriage in 1863 they first appear on the 1871 census at gibbons row, adwy james hulme was a blacksmith his wife was caroline nee reichardt they had 7 children who assumed the surname of hulmes (sometimes as holmes) I have been to wrexham twice to carry out research and to try and find houses they lived in over the past 100 years the men of the family were colliers in the early 1900s mainly living at coedpoeth and penygelli if i mispell any local names please excuse
i would appreciate any help on local addresses such as twenty house at minera, gibbons row at adwy, jane edwards place at talwrn, jane hughes row at Penygelli Also would anyone know which colliery they were likely to have worked at or where james would have been employed as a Blacksmith

Hello and welcome I`m sure we can help, there was a colliery at Vron, which was very close to Adwy,. Keep coming back and I `m sure you` ll have more replies.
