I've been taking a break from FH for some time now but thanks to FMP recent release of 19th century parish registers, I've found some interesting connections in my tree to share with you In 1844, Barbara Carrington (b1823) married Edward Belton (b1823). Barbara was elder sister to my 2G Grandfather Francis Carrington (b1828) In 1845, Margaret Wynne (b1818) married Isaac Belton (b1807). Isaac was elder half brother of Edward Belton. In 1850, Maria Wynne (b1828) married Francis Carrington. (I always wondered how they met ;D) Margaret & Maria were both daughters of Thomas & Elizabeth Wynne. Margaret baptized at Llanfair DC and Maria born after the family moved to Treuddyn (about 1820-1825). edit:to correct subject line typo.

Hi Heather, As you know I have some Beltons on the very extreme fringes of my family and Isaac b 1807 m. to Margaret b 1818 is one. I have now added the surname Wynne to my records and have located the marriage in Wrexham in March Q 1846 but I cannot find them on the North Wales Bmd, sorry I do not have any more info as to where and when the marriage took place.-Regards Tom

Hi Tom I believe it took place at Tryddyn, Flintshire - at least the Banns were entered in the Banns Book - 3rd and final time December 20th 1845. The entry is for an Iassa BELTUN of Hope parish and Margaret WYNE of Tryddyn parish. The marriage entry from the register is not available on FMP I will send you a PM. Heather

Long time since I've been doing any history either - so thanks for these excellent pointers! It might get me digging again!
