My Ancestors came from Bwlchgwyn - Mary Jane & John Williams. They lived at Ffynnon Nephal and John died 1897 and is buried in Bethesda Cemetery. Mary Jane then went to live in Stryt Maelor Bwlchgwyn before going to live in New Broughton. One of thedaughters, my Taid's sister was called Dinah and married Jesse Price in 1901, their address was Bryn Awel, Bwlchgwyn. Jesse Price died in 1914. Dinah then remarried Hugh Hopwood who owned Gwalia Stores/Post Office New Broughton. I have found Hugh Hopwood's grave in Wrexham Cemetery, he is buried with his first wife but I don't know where Dinah maybe buried. I would be grateful if anyone has been told anything about the Williams family of Bwlchgwyn - There where 12 children - Dinah (1871) - John (1873) - William (died young) (1875) - Jane(1878) - Elizabeth (died young (1880) - Elizabeth Ann (1882)- Mary (1885) - Sarah (1887) - Julia (1889) - William Arthur(My Taid) (1891) - Margaret (Maggie) (1894) - Joseph Henry (1896). Fingers crossed one of these names rings a bell. Thank you Eileen Williams

A HUGE THANK YOU - I have been to Bethesda Churchyard at lunchtime and now have photos of my Taid's Mum, Dad and his brother plus a little further back I found Dinah Hopwood's grave, she is buried with her first husband Jesse Price. Now I can start looking for the other graves. There were 12 children but some died young. Once again, a huge thank you, I have been searching Pentre Broughton, Treuddyn and Wrexham Cemeteries to no avail. Overnight you have solved one mystery, Brilliant. Best wishes, Eileen Williams

I find this website a bit confusing so maybe I put my response in the wrong place, so here goes, I will put it here as well.

I don't speak Welsh but at least I now have photos as a lasting memory before the gravestones fade away and can share them to my cousins. You have been so helpful, what a great website, even though I find it a bit confusing to reply or attach photos as my photos are larger than can be attached..

When you reply there should be a row of icons and at the right Add Attachment. . Click on this and add the files. Hopefully it will do the job. Just scroll down a few rows before you insert it or it will have your text around it.
