This site was recommended to me from the BBC Website. I had come across some information on Minera School Days and had posted a message asking for some help with my family research.
Here was my reply fromGeoff Evans
"Can I recomend the " MineraHistory" website, may well be worth a look and we have some excellent researchers on this site. The site also covers Coedpoeth and other villages in the near vicinity. There are at least three first class contributors to this site and if they can help I'm sure they will. Well worth a try. Good Luck."
I've received help from a number of sources including this site. Family research is like putting a jigsaw together, you have to keep searching for the missing pieces. I pop on this site daily and look at the boards, I also read them just to pick up tips and learn about the area.
Speaking as a complete novice. It's really difficult sometimes to put your message into words, how to guage whether what you are asking makes sense or is realistic. There's always that fear or embarrassment that you will ask a 'stupid' question.' I sometimes wish people could see my 'L' Plates.
PS I've got two stars and don't think I should have any yet. What do the stars mean?

Thank you Geoff. I've been on a long journey since we spoke and have had help from New Zealand, Japan and Saudia Arabia. Suprising what a bit of googling can do.
