Is it me or am I right in thinking that some of the census pages for Griffith Road and Llewellyn Road, off the Talwrn Road, are missing? Some years ago whilst searching for my Jones family on fiche, I found that Coedpoeth [Bersham] was rather mixed up on different fiche and was unable to locate whom I was looking for. I thought it was down to me. Now searching via Ancestry, and having more of an idea of where to look etc, it seems that these roads just aren't there. If anyone else has people gone missing in these parts or can confirm this info, I would be glad to hear from you. Lynn

hmmm now maybe its me but i may have mentioned missing pages before on other census returns but i was dismissed of thinking such a thing as they are obtained from the national Archives just as a matter of fact I myself work for local government and can rightfully state that quality is not always adhered to hope that helps although it dosent help me

Hi Lynn and Tracey. My first time on this most fascinating site! I have spent YEARS looking for my Richards' family on the 1891 census to no avail. I know they were in Coedpoeth/Bersham or Bwlchgwyn area at that time. At last I find someone else with same problem even if it doesn't get us anywhere! Love the Minera registers.....but so sad some of them. Found my John Price Richards' burial as a baby. Thank you! Jan.

Hi Jan, It is definitely missing cos I have since found them in the electoral registers. Both my Jones family and the Evans side too! At least I could find them by using another source!

Hi Jan, A.N Palmer centre in Wrexaham keeps them back to about the1940s, before then, you will find them at the Denbighshire record office, Ruthin. Electoral registers will often only tell you the head of household, it depends what date you are looking at. Women didnt have the right to vote once upon a time! Although I confirmed where my Jones family were living, I was unable to confirm which children were still living at home. Lynn

Why haven't I looked at this message board before??? (The answer is that I was so excited to find the parish registers and didn't look further!) Been on the Wirral for two days so I was in sight of the Welsh mountains.(Not close enough to do "look ups.") Thank you....I will follow up your info. when I visit Wrexham, Jan.
