It's hard to read, but do you think this might say "Plas Bwcle" (Buckley). There is a reference to a farm at this address on a Walk published by Wrexham Council at www.wrecsam.gov.uk/assets/word_files/walking/cw_route3_w.doc as in: Croeswch y ffordd a cherddwch i fyny llwybr y fferm at Fferm Plas Bwcle. Ewch heibio i’r holl adeiladau yna cadwch i’r dde gan ddilyn y llwybr a nodir gan arwyddion trwy’r giatiau ar hyd lôn y fferm. Hilary

You`re right, it is Bwcle. Pity the walk is in Welsh.

I haven't translated it, but the walk seems to start at Melin-y-nant? then goes past Nant bridge, and it's just a bit further along. So it is in that part of Coedpoeth somewhere....it sems to be the path to Plas Bwcle Farm.

I think that if one is to walk over the Nant Bridge, towards the Bronwylfa side of the valley, the lane is little alterred, Annette, heading back towards Bersham direction. Any help? I think that grid reference SJ 290501 to SJ293496 may be the road in question. Locsin
