I would appreciate a look-up in the 1861 census for this lady if anyone has access to the data. In the 1851 she's living at Bwlchgwyn with her husband, Davies Edward Davies, Mine Agent, and other info suggests they would have been living at Ffynnon-y-cwrw. Davies died at the end of 1860 at FyC but Elisabeth didn't pop her clogs until 1868. When she died she was living at Bwlchgwyn.
In the 1851 census she claims to have been born at Brymbo - which seems to cover a very wide area in practice! - and she would have been born around 1795 to William and Jane Williams.
I know she isn't living with her daughter Margaret - my 2 x Great grandmother - but that leaves Edward (unmarried), Davies Edward (married to Catherine Lunt and probably setting up shop in Coedpoeth) and the mysterious Mary Ann who I only discovered existed a couple of weeks ago. She would be about 31 so almost certainly married.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Keith

Hi Keith, Just had a look for you but didn't find her, sorry. I do know that some of the 1861 census for Minera is missing but I'm not sure about Brymbo/Bwlchgwyn. I'm sure Annette will be able to answer that one. Welcome back Annette!

Hi all, great to be back . I think it`s right about some Minera / Bwlchgwyn area pages missing from 1861, I remember Sceptrelady not being able to find some of hers.

Just my luck if she's likely to be in the lost bits! Keith
