The Minera War Memorial is inside the Parish Church. It`s on a wall near the font. There are 3 brass plaques on black stone. Is was made by HN Parry Minera ( Inscribed bottom right)

Make them to be numbered with thy Saints in glory everlasting.
SWW Roll of Honour. On another brass ( on seperate black stone This further tablet records the names of those men from this parish who gave their lives in the second world war. 1939 - 1945 Elwyn Kyffin Roberts Noel Willliams Thomas Ellis Williams.
There is a display at AN Palmer centre now about the wars, and a book that has transcriptions of many War Memorials s in the area. Well worth a look at.

When I was writing these down I thought some seemed familier, Charles Hope, John Edward Lee, Robert R G Newman, they are also on the Coedpoeth memorial, I can`t see them being different people - can you ? I `ve not x checked them all.

I would tend to agree that they would be the same people as families could live so close to each other and be in different villages where Coedpoeth and Minera meet.
But I am really amazed by the information I have discovered just from your mention of John Belton - he wasn't on the family tree that I inherited, but he turns out to have been my second cousin twice removed. Poor thing served in France for 3 years and 138 days. This has led me to tie in another whole tranch of Beltons. Thanks again, Annette!
