Why is this happening. When I look at the post Turner/Colley/Horton, the page is too wide to read it all at once and I have to move across the page with the scroll bar ,but on the post John Cotton, Treadgold , it all fits in and I can see the lot. I entered it all the same way. is any one else having this hassle.

Basically, something's preventing the browsers from putting in a line-break at the normal place for your screen. HTML formats the text on a page to suit each screen and what appears on my screen is probably quite different to yours, in terms of text size, line width and so on. The point is, though, it adds a line break where there's a suitable space between two words or a hyphen.
Looking at your first post I think I can see the problem. Try editing it to remove the excessive number of equals signs you've used as a separator. For some reason there's one section where you've put at least twice as many as elsewhere. That's forcing the browsers to add a line break at the maximum it's allowed within what it sees as one, very long word.

Glad to have been of help. Apologies for the obscure explanation, though.
