I am interested in the above who married my father's great aunt Hannah. She was born 1866, Cymau. Charles was born 1858 in Coedpoeth (possibly Bersham). Census records show 1861 missing 1871 living in Broughton - collier 1881 boarder in Broughton - collliery engine driver 1891 living in Broughton - head machine clerk? married to Elizabeth with a daughter Sarah Elizabeth born 1884, Broughton. 1901 he is a widower living with his daughter. He is described as writing clerk. By 1904 he was married to Hannah. He is described also as a Methodist Local preacher though I am not clear if this is the Welsh or the English circuit. I would be interested in any further details of either Charles or Hannah. Or do I need to wait for 1911 Census!!
Many thanks.

Hi Peter, C.Anderson appears on the Coedpoeth Welsh Wesleyan Circuit preaching plans for 1890, 1893-4, at Pisgah, Pentre Broughton. Also 1881 Charles Anderson, Broughton. He is shown preaching at various chapels within the circuit and he appears towards the top of the lists which shows his seniority or importance. I am sure he will have a photo and a detailed piece written about him in the Cylchgrawn, the Coedpoeth Circuit magazines, which are kept at the A.N. Palmer centre. You may have to search through several years though but it would be very rewarding. You could also find an obituary which would be easier to locate if you have his date of death. You will no doubt find an obituary for Hannah too.
