On the home page of this site there is a Parish records online link , picture of a church. In the Minera baptisms there is Margaret d/o John Michael shopkeeper and Anne, Of Brymbo bapt 11 June 1837. More Michael names appear as witnesses in other marriages. In the Wern Baptisms there are quite a few Michaels, both as the fathers surname, and the mothers maiden name. Hope this will help you a bit.

Hello Angela My ggg grandfather was William WYNNE (c1793-1839). He married Mary Parry in 1816. He was an engineer, who lived and died in Aberderfyn. I don't know where he was born, or where he's buried. As far as I can tell, his children included Mary (b1816), my gg grandfather Charles (c1818-1897), Louisa (1821-1857), Anne(1823), George (1832) and Sarah (b1835). Sarah was born in Aberderfyn, Ruabon (where William lived and died). She was baptised on 5th July 1835 (Clwyd FHS Ruabon Parish Transcripts, Chapter 11, Baptisms 1828-1853, page 28). Her parents are listed as William WYNN (No "E", but that's quite common. It comes and goes), an engineer, and Mary, living in Aberderfyn. I think it's possible that she was living in Adwyr Clawdd in 1851 (aged 16), as a servant in the house of Samuel and Ann Lloyd, whose daughter Emma I believe married Sarah's brother George. [1851 census HO107, 2503, 656, 5] It looks like we might have the same individual. I don't know anything else about her specifically, but have quite a bit on her relatives. I would be fascinated to learn more about what you have on Sarah and her family. Best wishes, John Wynne
