I`m wondering if the wife in this marriage and 1911 is Mary Elizabeth Taylor who in 1901 was living in Penygelli Road with her grannie , who had been at the Masons Arms for a long time. Did Mary marry into another family of Innkeepers. Mary is my Gt Gt Aunt, I think WREXHAM DISTRICT DIRECTORY 1892 COEDPOETH AND ADWY Humphreys John, Three-Mile House, Adwy. Trevor Humphreys rings a bell with me, did he become a ` Scotch Draper` or something like that. I am sure he used to come to our house when I was little, my Dad was born in 1903 so the ages would be about right. They would have been related. - interesting.

I`ve just dug out an obit for my Gt Uncle Harold Wilcoxon. He died in 1968. Trevor Humphreys attended , he is named as a cousin. Sooooooooooo, Trevor was the son of Mary Elizabeth nee Taylor. who was the sister of Annie Taylor who married Joseph Wilcoxon. Joseph was the father of Harold. Harold was a very brave man who was awarded the Miltary Cross twice, and I have been informed it was actually 3 times, but can`t confirm that. I`ve found this 1911 record , but searching for a match of Trevor with John in the household gave no results. The record in the previous post seems to be wrong, What happened to John Edwin Humphreys MARY HUMPHREYS age 29 TREVOR HUMPHREYS age 3 Residence COEDPOETH
