Hi, I have Robert born 5 6 1882 Llandegla and in 1891 Census in Cae Haidd, Minera- He was in Maelor View, Minera in 1901 Census-- I am afraid the info for Merianne was from family members and could be unreliable (SORRY!)Same source said Robert became a Shop Manager in the Liverpool area and once won a competition, which his parents often boasted about. I am sorry thats about all I know Tom

Hi, Are you aware that on M & W CARRINGTON Headstone ( A Magnificent one) there is a tribute to their son Harrie who died in Cairo, Egypt 6 2 1922 aged 31 years--Henry was often referred to as Harry or Harrie(maybe a Welsh version) if these are the correct family he would have had to be a twin being born 1891 Apologise if this is a load of waffle but just maybe it could helpGood Luck Tom PS LW IMG 3 and 4

HI,Can I please ask all experienced researchers if they would merge the Michaels and Mitchels if they had all this excellent information as it seems the obvious thing to do and how do I decide which name to use or am I being a bit ambitious at this stage without more proof. I feel comfortable with it and intend getting some certs soon. Tom

Hi, I am amazed at all this info and feel sure most if not all will be relevant----but it will take me quite some time to sort and put in and hope I do not have too many senior moments on the way. I must thank everyone concerned and say how much I appreciate your help filling the gaps and going back further than I thought possible-Thanks Tom

Also Samuel Michael father of Mary b 1824 Minera---Who was He married to and did Mary have any siblings ? Not asking much am I ? But I was brought up with the saying "If you dont ask you dont get" Cheers Tom

Hi, The official burial register for Southsea All Saints 1907(First bur.) to 1947 is missing but there are records from then on. Like you I was very frustrated looking for info etc so I decided to try my hand at putting a list together(1207 Burials) from any sources who would cooperate-some did some did not. I did it in the form of a database and had it printed and donated copies to Ruthin, Palmer C. Southsea Church and The Broughton History Group who paid for the printing -will put bur det on next message as I am out of space--Tom

Hi, I am quite surprised to find only one Robert Parry buried in Coedpoeth Cemetery and he does not look a very likely candidate---Robert Parry aged 89 yrs died 2 2 1954 bur 6 2 1954 also a Harriet Parry(poss 1st wife) aged 33 yrs died 17 5 1899 bur 20 1 1899 (dob are good)there is a headstone LW IMG 8166 And the plot no is 249. There are no Parrys with the names given on the 1937 electors list for Minera- I remember Bryn Dedwydd as a row of 5 Cottages known locally as the Barracks about the 1950's Good Luck Tom
